Written off by fellow teammates and coaches, Brandon displayed dogged determination in the face of staggering odds. An extremely devoted Christian, Brandon never cursed or drank. He was genuinely humble and low-key. He worked harder than anybody, on and off the field, becoming the first Razorback to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree while still playing. The overly-fat kid who was once an embarrassment to his teammates and an annoyance to his coaches, ended up becoming the most respected player in the history of the program, changing the lives of all he touched. 在橄榄球里其实这样的锋线位置很难出彩成名，这位表现算得上NCAA里的奇迹。电影前大部分都是普通的美式家庭励志故事（拍得恐怕不如同类型）。只是结尾人生突遭意外，令人唏嘘不已。若是真去了印第安纳小马，那之后必然是与大曼宁构成传奇组合的人物，生命无常世事难料。影片核心落在最后的对话内容上，质问上帝夺走他生命的意义是什么:神父认为"In the end, always big picture.""Our loss is great, but God is greater. WE TRUST"。按油管会员免费片库的标准，算可推荐的片子。
